So ariastar and I were talking about the Doctor/Master dynamic in Doctor Who, and we kind of accidentally came up with this. Not actually confined to Doctor Who fandom, either. Feel free to suggest your own!

I'm going to be doing some pruning of the flist. It's absolutely nothing personal, just I have a lot of people on my flist who I don't really keep in touch with anymore, or people I friended while in fandoms I don't follow anymore, and such things. If I take you off, it definitely doesn't mean I don't like you, so please don't take it as an insult. If you get taken off and really want to stay on, drop a comment on the friendsonly post and I'll probably add you again.

Did Jack just use the parrot sketch to describe what he did to Hathor? *HEART* Jack and John (hee!) need to get together and have Star Wars/Star Trek (Kirk! In "1969"!)/Python geekfests.

Which is all a random way of saying, I've watched two seasons of SG-1 in a little over a week, and the only things that are slowing me down are sleep and work. Which I now depart to. And afterwars, season 3!

All right, this is curiosity more than anything. The Brutal Honesty Meme is full up on comments, so comment here; anonymous replies are enabled and IP logging is off. I can pretty much guarentee I won't be able to guess who you are, I'm pretty bad about things like that. Have at me.

Apparently the season of spring has sensed its hatred for it and reacted accordingly.

Time Polaris left the library: 5:00 (closing)

Time the rain started: 5:00

Time the bus arrived: 5:15

Time the rain stopped: 5:20

And, since it was sunny and all earlier, I'd left the house wearing a t-shirt underneath a flimsy, artsy long-sleeved shirt that I don't ever button. I'm wearing different clothes now.

*shivers* The world apparently does not want me to get over this cold.

Earlier this week, Aria and I noticed that everyone seems to have been eaten by Milliways. But we still feel like doing some sort of rpg, something a little different, namely not a fandom rpg.

So we've created no_mans_land_.

So here we are, wearing a big cute puppy-eyed expression and asking you all to join. Perhaps you have nonexistant free time to waste. Perhaps I have overestimated myself and the rpg's premise is actually a good idea. Why is it called No Man's Land? I really have no idea; perhaps it sounded cool to me at the time. Why do you need to apply before you can join? Because we are elitist snobs! Actually because as it's not a preexisting universe we want to make sure whatever character you bring in can exist in that universe; I expect we'll be accepting just about everyone anyway.

This is ariastar posting at Polaris' request. She's been meaning to post for some time, but as she is currently being slowly torn apart from the inside as her internal organs rebel against her, she is somewhat indisposed at present.

For the past few days, to the best of my knowledge, she has been reading various things, watching West Wing, and generally doing not very much of note, which is why she has not been posting.

I expect I should be saying something else in addition to this, but I can think of nothing at present.

It's been an interesting day. The colours! My gods, the colours!

Apparently, four bookshelves in one room is enough to bend L-Space. I imagine my employers at the library aren't going to be very happy about that, since from what Howl is telling me it looks like I've widened the connections, but he's off talking with Numair so I couldn't get much more than that.

Right now I'm wondering what to do with the backlog from the Library of Alexandria and the refugees from Atlantis.

The Librarian is giving me very unhappy looks. Must fetch more bannanas.

I wonder where the villains have gone?
